SimCity Societies simulates differently the organization of a city compared to the predecessors of the SimCity franchise. While SimCity was based on the division of the city in areas of commercial, industrial and residential as well as the construction of fire stations, hospitals and police departments, Societies based on the concept of social engineering simulator.
The settlement of the town was the burden of chance and skill of the player in providing an attractive place for residents of neighboring towns. In SimCity Societies all buildings are chosen and placed on the scenario, since the infrastructure that we consider to be the responsibility of the State to small shops and private institutions. There are six types of important attributes that must be balanced in Societies: industry, wealth, obedience, wisdom, devotion and creativity. Each is responsible for defining the personality of citizens and their collective behavior, a way to let the understanding of them clearer and more objective.
SimCity Societies is different to escape the standard expected of SimCity, replacing power stations building for control closer to the citizens. The attempt is to bring together the idea of people surrounded the simulator The Sims on a further dimension.
The version Deluxe comes with the original SimCity Societies and the expansion Destinations, which expands the possibilities for tourism in the city, adding important landmarks to the scene, like a sunken ship, ancient ruins and the Castle of Frankenstein, which can be exploited as tourist destinations, attracting yet more tourists to your city.

To change the language, modify the file language.ini, choosen one of the ones in the Localization folder.
